Uh Oohhh!! So sorry for the lack of updates!! *blush*

Too busy with FB-ing & my iPhone i almost forgot about the blog. LOL~

Some recent updates on the schnauzer duos;-

* Still as lovely & lively
* They have a new buddy cum playmate in the house (my sister's new puppy!)
* Ebi had just went for his annual vaccine & all's good!
* Had their full-grooming recently, on 03 Oct
* We just celebrated Emma's barkday (she's turning 3yrs old on 30 Oct!) over a BBQ cum MS gathering @ Changi Beach Park. The turnout was great, gathering was a success & everybody (including 20+ furkids) enjoyed themselves!

Last friday (28.05.10) was vesak day - a public holiday. On this day, moi dearies came over for a steamboat lunch cum gathering session. I decided to do a small celebration for Ebi's barkday as well~ Rach brought Toby & Tamy along!

** Sunday, 30 May **

Sent the dogs early morning to Marc for their full-grooming session! As usual, Ebi went for his schnauzer cut & Emma went for her puppy cut. However, Emma's leggings were trimmed even shorter this time round (left about 1 inch), this is to try & even out the bald patch shown in earlier post. Hopefully the fur can grow out fast. Marc took special care of Emma as informed & we chatted awhile cos he too, realized that Emma lost alot of weight. Newae, they were all done & smelling great w/i 2.5hrs!

Elloz friends,

Apologize for the lack of updates. We've just moved house & has been kept very busy for this 2 months. Yeap, we've finally settled down at last & had our house-warming party with lots of friends & relatives last Saturday - 08.05.10

However, something unfortunate happened to Emma. She has been rather restless & was not her usual hyperactive/greedy self ever since we moved to this new place. We concluded it was due to stress & unfamiliar environment. Even brought her to the Vet on 02 May but the Vet could not find anything wrong at all. However, she did get better for the next few days until she collapsed infront of our eyes when our friends were here for the house-warming. She was restless, she started to pant heavily & drooled alot, front paws were stiff & she couldn't even walk. The moment we make her stand, she would just collapse. Immediately booked an appointment with Dr. Gianuario & sent her in rightaway, having to leave my guests to entertain themselves while waiting for us to come home.

Reached the Vet at 2pm & after a quick checkup, the Vet said it was more serious this time round & immediately brought her away to another room. I broke down finally but Vet assured me that everything's going to be alright & Emma will be fine. I was asked to go home & wait for the update as she's warded for 1 night in the clinic for observation. I went back home with a sunken heart but brightened up with the thought that she's in very very good hands & im sure she will be fine with the Vet & nurses taking great care of her. By 4pm, the clinic called & Vet informed me that Emma was diagnosed with seizure.. *sigh* Emma was on drip, injections & treatments given, blood tests were also done. She was up & running around in the clinic already but i am only supposed to bring her home the next day. Good thing is - blood tests all cleared! Phew, thank God! Anyway, it was a busy day ahead as we had 2 sessions of house-warming party & i was pretty glad she wasn't at home as the many guests & kids were definitely add on to her stress.

The next day, we arranged with the clinic to pick her up at 12pm while waiting to get a report too from the Vet. She was still on drip when the nurse brought her out. Emma looked well, better than the past few days. She was whining so loud & taping her paws aloud & excitably on the cold metal table the moment she sees us! *awwwwww* Definitely heart-wrenching to see her in this state, but i'm glad she's all well! We brought her back home shortly & Vet advised us to monitor her further. We could have missed those seizure symptoms earlier as this was the 1st time. It could be caused by genetic (low chance as it only happened now) or plant intoxication (we suspect it could be this case as we just shifted & is on a lower floor now & yes - we had leaves flying into the house or she could have eaten something wrong)

In any case, we were just as happy & excited to have Emma back home. ("v")

Great Vet & nurse! Emma loves Dr.Gianuario i think. She whined & wagged her tail excitedly when they met again outside the clinic while i was making payment..The nurse too showered her with kisses before handling her back to me.

Dr.Gianuario was really nice. He called me up in the morning for the following 2 days to check on Emma, if she's eating well.. if she's walking/running about.. if she's active.. whether her pee/poo is normal & eg.

旺旺 the "lost" JRT has returned HOME~

Dear Pals,

We are very happy & excited to inform you all that WangWang has finally gone HOME & had been reunited with his family!!

Definately a great news!! Mommy & Aunty Cat took time to go down SPCA yesterday, hoping to catch a glimpse of Wang Wang & to find out whether his owners had claimed him back (since the staff did not want to reveal over the phone).

They went into the kennels & did not see Wang Wang though they saw there was another pair of JRT's there as well. They spoke to the friendly lady over the shelter counter & checked about Wang Wang, finally was informed that he had just been claimed home! Yippeeeeeeeeee~ We are so glad this is truly a lost & found case, not an abandonment! =))

Mommy said she would very disappointed though, if she had seen WangWang still being kept in the kennel (which would probable lead to him being abandoned) Though she's really happy for WangWang to be finally reunited, but we can sense a little bit of dismay coming out from her coz she's been missing 旺旺 & had been looking forward to see him yesterday. BOL! Even our Grampys (grandmama) & grandpapa) was happy he had went HOME finally. Mom's friends have been informed too & Facebook updated!

Nevertheless, we are all happy for Wang Wang & cross our paws that he don't wander lost again~ Be good, our dear friend!("v")

Lost & Found "Jack Russell Terrier"

Last Saturday 16.01.10, we found a JRT @ the carpark. It looked lost & was wandering around the small patch of grass behind the parked cars. Tried to search for any anxious owners - none. He had only his harness on him, no collar/tag - so we guessed it was owned but somehow lost. We brought him back home fearing the nearby stray cats may attack him or risk him being getting knocked down by reversing cars.

Checked him for any visible injuries & then bathed him clean. Kept him in the cage & gave him some water & treats. Then, i posted the notices over the pet forums & informed my friends to circulate the notice via Facebook as well.

Next morning, brought him to walk around the estate hoping to find some posters pasted by the owners or eg. - again, nothing! I reported to SPCA too but there were no reports of any lost JRT. We kept him for another day hoping the owners would come & claim him soon while also waiting for SPCA's call for any report of "lost dog". Still nothing. We are unable to foster him longer as Emma has grown quite territorial & was growling whenever we let the JRT out to wander the house. Twice, Emma almost snapped the dog when he went too near or had tried to enter into our room. We were unable to sleep too due to the fact that the JRT cannot stop whining & turning in circles the whole night! I hasn't slept for 2 nights since he was here. Was afraid too that the noises would cause the neighbours to complain.

We've tried several means - posted notices on forums/circulate notice to friends, walked the dog around the estate looking for anxious owners/posters, printed my own posters & pasted around the blocks too. Even tried contacting volunteers but no shelters have space for him. So after much discussion with my friends & advice from the SPCA staff, i decided to bring him down to SPCA on Monday night, 18.01.10~

"旺旺" has been sent to the SPCA which we have deduced it to be the best idea for him now while awaiting to reunite with his family.

Tried several means on my end but ended up with no news at all. The staff did the mircrochip scanning but detected none on him & thus, we can only wait for the owners to make a report @ SPCA. Meanwhile they promised to advertise on the papers too.

I had come to an agreement with the staff on the 'animal handling form';- shld the owners not come to claim the dog w/i 10-14 days, SPCA will decide whether he's qualified for adoption - if he's not, they should inform me so i can rehome the JRT. (IMO, if this is a true abandon case - adoption chances should be very high since the dog has such wonderful temperament & is hdb-approved)

Nevertheless, let's just hope this is a truly lost & found case - may Wang Wang be able to return home soon & be reunited with his family!

Goshhhhhhhhhh! So terribly sorrrrrrrry! I had almost forgotten about this blog ever since i started being active in Facebook! *blush* But i must admit, uploading photos there is really so much easier & convenient! Hehee^^

Nevertheless, here's some updates on the duos~

VISIT TO THE VET

3 weeks back, Ebi was done with diahorrea. Soon as he started, Emma got it as well~ Brought them to the Vet on 02 Jan & brought some stool sample along for testing. Vet diagnosis as "bacteria infection" due to the fact that the duos was also on BARF. Luckily, no worms were found in stools - nothing was detected, they are perfectly fine. Was only given some anti-biotics & a bottle of syrup which will stop the diahorrea. Good enough, the diahorrea stopped just after i administer the medications to them twice. Oh i also brought 4 deworming tablets from the clinic coz it's been very long since i last de-wormed the dogs.

Oh oh, as of Jan - their weight stays good @ 7.45kg (Ebi) & 6.80kg (Emma)! =)

Vet advised me to stop BARF for the dogs temporary until their body recovers fully. Thus, i had their diet changed to Rice+Fish+Pumpkin for 1 week before i slowly introuced back Dr.B's patties to them again~

OUTING TO THE DOG-RUN

Last weekend, i brought them to PetMovers dog-run for some exercise. It has been a long while since the dogs had visited the park/run due to the busy holidays & the wet weather in Dec. Weather last sunday was good, there weren't too many dogs in the dog-run & the 'nasty smell' wasn't as strong as before & field looks clean enough.

Ebi & Emma was so excited upon reaching, they were screaming & whining aloud into my ears as i was parking the car. Once i off-leashed them in the dog-run, they ran & ran like they hasn't done so for many months (in fact, their last outing was just 2 weeks ago to the beach)!! They sniffed the other dogs & made friends quickly, then started the chasing & play-biting game. Despite being really tired from doing the household chores all morning/noon, it was really nice to bring them out, see them having fun & enjoying themself so much - i just felt happy. An hour later, both of them was so shagged we decided to leave for home as the weather was turning gloomy too. Reaching home 15-20mins later, it was bathing time for the duos. Bathed & scrubbed them clean, toweled & blowed them dry then finally, brush & dematted their fur. By evening when i was done & had my own bath, i was dead tired..!

4) Sleep.....We loves to laze around & sleep especially when Mommy is with us, laying on the bed & watching TV. I would rest beside her & slowly falls asleep while Emma would sleep near her foot or right beside us, on the floor. hurhur^^

5) Kiss.....I'm a lovable boy! I loves to give my kisses to anyone i meets especially familiar ones. (eg. Auntie Winnie/ Rachel/ Adeline, Uncle Too/ Victor eg eg.) Emma chooses people to give her kisses too, i think she only gives it to Uncle Too - her all time favourite 'daddy-in-law'. LOL~

Emma had yet another barkday celebration with her pal, Junior on 31 Oct @ Offroads Bistro. This time round, there was a 'real cake' from Barker's Grub & some nice bakes from Pets Zone. It was a small & simple celebration for the 2 barkday dogs - Junior (whom turns 4 on 01 Nov) & Emma (turns 2 on 30 Oct). Of coz, Ebi & Jester gets to come along too. All of them sure enjoyed the gathering & the delicious foods! We had fun taking pictures & chit-chatting. Pics will be uploaded later~

Oooopppps, hasn't had time to update the blog nowadays. Too hooked on facebook & photos/updates done over there is so much easier. Moreover, the software im using to downsize the photos before uploading to PB is down & im too lazy to use the online tools which takes up pretty much time. Kekeke

Anyway, Ebi & Emma is just as fine. They have went for their full grooming 2.5 weeks ago & is looking great. Emma too had just celebrated her 2nd barkday last weekend with her good pal - Junior whom turns 4. Then, we had also attended the SKC Dog Show too. I promise to get some photos of these events up soon, hurhur^^

1 very good news is - we are shifting! Yippee, finally upgrading to a bigger house after being stucked in this 3-room flat for 14 years already. Though we are only shifting a few streets away from the current, but this is still a happy affair! We found the 'perfect house' just after 4 viewings (on the same day) which is very fortunate. This new house is a door-to-door unit (finally away from some of my noisy neighbours), low-level (lift upgrading coming tho we can exercise by running up/down the stairs daily), location is okay & most importantly, nicely renovated. The owners had just renovated the house 2 years ago & everything in it looks just too new. Moreover, they are a pair of nice & friendly couple in their 30s with a pair of Jack Russells! My new neighbours are muslims but as per what the owners said - they are pretty friedly & easy to get along, the kids often comes over to look & play with the dogs. I hope in time, we can get along very well too! (",)

Exercise option will be next week & i think, we can probably get the keys to the new house in another 6 months time. Meanwhile, we are selling off our house & our agent has been bringing potential buyers over to view the house. We've got an offer already but still waiting for a more ideal one. Soooo, good luck to us! =))

It was a sunny saturday morning, the perfect weather to bring the dogs out! Have been looking forward to this day & i bet Ebi & Emma must have been very excited too. This time, we decided to gather @ Katong Park so the doggies can have their butt-sniffing session, play-together session & run free & wild in an enclosed field! I started the event & posted it in Facebook, sending invitations to only our friends. Too bad some of the usual pals wasn't able to join us this round. Nevertheless, we are all looking forward to the next outing! (",)

Long Long Weekend~

OOooooooppss!! Hasn't had the time to update the blog for awile now, anyway there wasn't anything much happening around my kids too. =pp

First of all - Yippee! The long-awaited long weekends are finally here!! =)) Here's some of the programs that has already been planned, still trying to find more programs & places to go so as to utilise the holidays.. hahaha^^

-= Friday 18.09.09 =-

Starting as of yesterday, i brought Ebi & Emma out for dinner + night walk along with my buddy. After thinking long & hard, we decided on Beach Culture & headed there around 9.00pm~ It was great that this cafe was dog-friendly though we were only allowed on the outside dining area. The staffs were pretty much friendly with the dogs & 2 of them even came over to play with the dogs while we dine. I very much liked the place for it's ambience & service. Clean, cooling & live band with great music & nice songs! Oh, though the dogs are not allowed on chairs, but the ground is dry & clean enough for me to safely allow the duos to lie down. The food was pretty good to me, but i almost puked on the Spaghetti Bolognese (not that it is not nice, in fact it tastes good.. but the portion was darn HUGE!! LOL) I was taken aback slightly when i saw the plate of pasta infront of me, of coz at the end i left enough portion for a 2nd person to eat too. Kekeke~ Oh, we too ordered the snacks - Nuggets & Rings + Potato Wedges (big serving too!) The dogs got to enjoy the wedges too (w/o the 'fried skin', just the potato inside) for my effort of peeling/slicing off the skin. No wonder my parents always says the duos are too pampered by me. (",) Time passes quicky, it was so relaxing that we didn't notice we had already been there for 2.5 hours! We went for a short walk around the park later on..~ Oh! Since it was our 1st time there, we had almost went to the wrong cafe (Silvery Moon) when i see another 2 pooches dining with their owners there.. tsktsk~

Did i mention Emma was being unfriendly again? She had to get so agitated & bark off the waiter/waitress coming near our table when all they wanted was to play with her? Sigh, when will she ever learn.. :( Nevertheless, im glad most of the time she was contented to just stay underneath the table & hide among my legs (hoping that other people will not see her & come over to pat her?) while waiting for the treats i brought with me. Ebi was the good boy on the other hand (he oways is & most of the times he behaves himself.. hahaha =p) & was contented to just sit beside our chairs - watching the crowds comes & leaves, servers walking around & occasionally wagging his short tail when people wanna play with him. He was so quiet & reaction-less, sitting there like a statue that i think, most of the people never noticed him at all! Not to mention that he's black & the place was pretty dim. Muahahaa~

Nothing much planned for today since im heading out with my family tonight & i need to be home to do the household chores, pack my wardrobe & eg. so i could jolly well enjoy my sunday & monday. =pp

It's raining heavily when i am posting this entry, i hope it 'dries' up the sky so we could have the sun tomorrow to bring the dogs out for an outing! Ebi & Emma shall stay @ home & recharge themselves for the walkie tomorrow. Anyway, the floors will all be wet later also & i don't fancy them having wet paws. Hurhur^^

I'm so looking forward to finishing work @ 1.00pm (2 hours to go) so i could take my nap at home first b4 i start my chores. *yawns*

Ade suggested that we bring the dogs for a morning walk & head for lunch together. Of coz i jio-ed Rachel & Josephine along with their schnauzers. Gary, Winnie & Pamela cannot make it, thus the few of us would just proceed & meetup at 9.30am~ Ebi & Emma would be very very happy to get to meet their pals tomorrow!

After the walk, we'll proceed to K9 cafe for lunch. We could have our meals there while the dogs gets to have their meals too, from USDB. Furthermore, they gets to roam around the place & play chase with each other while we continue to dine! =))

After the morning/noon events, we'll proceed home as it's bathing time again for Ebi & Emma! I'll give them a good scrub & massage, make sure they are fresh & clean, smelling wonderful. They will be able to get a good night rest after a long long day..~ I'll probably go & play Mahjong while they sleeps. (",) Can't wait!

Joy, Fun & Laughter @ Grandpa's 82nd Birthday~~

On tuesday 25th, Grandpapa turned 82 years old~ Relatives & friends - all of us attended the birthday party held @ a bungalow chalet in Pasir Ris. I brought Ebi with us this time round & make him wear his new booties as i didn't want him to dirty his paws (only 3rd day after his bathing session).

Emma did not get to come along as she mis-qued & peed twice out of her pee-tray @ home!! As a punishment, she's made to stay home & look after the house.. haha^^ I did pity her & wanted to bring her along - but i was contemplating for a long long time coz i knew there will be some kids present. I was lucky we decided not to bring her in the end coz indeed there were many kids around & there were even 2 irritating cats roaming around the bungalow - Emma seriously hates them!! =(

Ebi walked awfully when i first put the new shoes on him. The way he tried to walk & run was so funny. Nevertheless, he got used to it after awhile & he could later on walk/run/jump comfortably in it.

All of us had fun~! By 11pm, Ebi got so tired 'entertaining' all the guests & following us all around the chalet - he concussed. LOL~ There were karaoke sessions cum dancing sessions, mahjong & beer drinking sessions. Everybody was enjoying themselves so much that at certain point, the guests got alittle 'high' @ the party~ Hahaha^^ I'll try & bring Emma with us next time. (",)

Doggy Shoes

Josephine passed 2 sets of doggy shoes (for Ebi & Emma) to me last Saturday when we met @ Sentosa. She bought ALOT from BKK coz all her trios uses shoes esp Ozzy.

In the past, i do not fancy dogs wearing doggy shoes coz to me - i felt is too fanciful. Moreover, dogs sweats thru their tongue & paws - in such a climate @ Singapore, i do not think shoes are necessary, is more like - fashion accesory. Perhaps, otherwise adviced by Vet for medical reasons or the dogs have very sensitive paw-pads & eg. =pp

I was wrong! The shoes does comes in handy sometimes - especially in rainy weathers (where we do not want their paws to get wet & have those 'tiny creatures' sticking onto their fur ard the paw & so..) Friends whom knew me well, knows that after my duos bathing session every weekend (Sat/Sun), i do not walk them nor bring them outta the house for at least the next 3 days following. Reason being - i wish to keep them as clean & fresh as possible & i hate to dirty their paws (cos i loves smelling their paws!) LOL~~

Last sunday Ebi insisted & was persistent on following us out for breakfast - so we brought him along & i decided to make him try & walk on his new shoes. We carried him all the way to the car (didn't allow him to walk on the ground & floor was wet too =pp) & later put on the shoes for him in the car. The shoes fits nicely (thanks Jo!) & Ebi didn't try chewing it off either after we said NO. When he arrived & parked, Ebi started walking & all of us broke out laughing. It was so funny & cute, he walked awfully - like a duckling! I insisted & make him walk slowly, allowing him to try & get used to the shoes. After awhile, it was better - he could walked more naturally except occasionally, he would stop in his track coz the shoe on 1 of the paws was loose~ hahaha^^

Sudden urge, i brought Ebi down to PLC yesterday & bought him a pair of new shoes (as spare). This shoe has a zipper + velcro which deems more secured on their paws. Freakingly, it costed $28+ for a set of 4 (more exp than my charles & keith slipper! *pouts*). Didn't buy for Emma yet coz i wanted to make sure she can fit into the same size as Ebi's shoes. Great!! Now i have no more worries about bringing the dogs out (even if it turns rainy suddenly) or when the floor is wet. I can even bring them for short walks after their bathing sessions coz both of them have their own shoes now. Definately, they will still be out w/o shoes, the shoes are only worn on them when necessary. Hurhur^^

Oh btw, Emma can fit well in Ebi's shoes nicely. So i went online to search & managed to buy this set of shoes for Emma too. PLC @ East Point didn't have this colour coz they are only left with the red - which i finds it too bright. Kekeke. MerMer's set of shoes costed much cheaper @ $14+ (free shipping summore)! Darn. PLC's price is doubled! Oh well~~

It's Grandpa's birthday today & we have a chalet @ Pasir Ris Park. I'll don the shoes on the dogs tonight (so they can run around the bungalow & the garden w/o dirtying their paws) & bring them along with me. If I sees Emma behaves & never misses peeing into the tray @ home - i'll bring her with us. Otherwise, her punishment is to stay home & look after the house while her Korkor Ebi comes with us. Muahahaaa~

Tanjong Beach~!!

Yep yep, we were off to Tanjong Beach again on Saturday noon! This time round, we have Dodo/Momo, BonBon, Cobi/Clover, Ozzy/Tessie/Rocky & of coz, Ebi & Emma. =pp

We reached the beach nearly 5pm & joined the crowd. The sun was shining brightly & i was melting under the sun. Nevertheless, i brought the dogs to the sea & got them to swim. They didn't swim much coz i wasn't swimming as i didn't want to get into the waters. Instead, they were lingering with their pals on the shore. =)

By 6+pm, we were out of the waters & went off to rinse the dogs. Again, i sent the duos to Gladys for bathing while buddy & i went to 'la-kopi' while waiting for them to be done. Met Ash & ZacZac in the shop & got to play with them for awhile too. Picked the dogs up @ 8.15pm & headed home to feed them dinner. I took my bath & rest before i headed off to Dbl'O for Cat's bdae gathering @ 10+pm.

Tamy is a good gal, everyone @ home loves her!
She rarely barks & she only whines for attention sometimes.
She pees correctly into the pee tray most of the times, tho she poos all over the house.. LOL~
She's very good with kids, Belle & Ryan loves her & likes playing with her!
She's so sticky such that i have no problem off-leashing her when we are @ the pawty.
She behaves well & poses no problem even when left alone @ home with the duos when i left for work.
She's responsive & comes to us whenever being called
She's happy with all the treats my Mom feeds her every afternoon, there's even durians. =p
Ebi is her favourite play-mate here. They plays tug-of-wars & 'choo-choo-train'!

All in all, Tamy's a very good gal & we enjoyed having her with us for the past few days. Though she likes to nibble on my fingers & squeeze on my bed with me when we take naps in the noon or sleeps at night, we all still loves her!! (",)

Yep yep~ Our friend, Tamy gal-gal is here for boarding! Her pawrents are away to Bangkok for a family holiday trip. So, here she comes while her kor-kor Toby goes over to Cobi's house! Tamy will be here for 6 days, 08 Aug - 13 Aug.. hurhur^^

Aunty Rachel & Uncle Garry brought Tamy over on Saturday @ about 1+pm. As usual, Emma has to start bickering with Tamy & see who screams the loudest. BOL! We checked out Tamy, sniffed her baggy baggy & went to find her pawrents for belly-rubs. =pp They left soon after & we continued stalking Tamy while this little gal follows Mommy around the house. At 3pm, Mommy put on our collar & leash & brought all 3 of us out, yippee! We heard that we were going to the opening party of a new petshop "The Pet Emporium" !

We finally found the place & arrived about 4pm, oooopppssss! There, we met some new faces like; Arson & Cassie - the Australian Shepherds aka *mascots for The Pet Emporium - shop owner's dogs*, Nova & Fifi - the Shetland Sheepdogs, Ashley - the Golden Retriever, Shadow - the Mini Schnauzer & more!! We also met our old pals there like; Dodo & Momo, Cobi & Toby, Sweetie & Wilbur eg. Oh yes, Toby & Tamy got 'reunited' for that little while until Cobi's pawrents decided to go off earlier, for an off-road adventure. Awwww~ sounds fun isn't it? We hope we can tag along next time! Geez~

The pawty was awesome!! The shop was nice & clean, big enough for us - doggies to roam all over the place. There were tons of yummylicious food (both human's & pooches..) too! We loved the doggy durian-puff most!! Yum Yum Yum! Even Tamy can't have enough of it & kept asking for more. Mom said Arson was gorgeous, we tot so too! I tried to make friends with both Arson & Cassie, but both of them were so busy entertaining the guests & checking out the other big big doggies~ Emma as usual, was the notti gal that kept barking & screaming at the other doggies.. Sighhh. (next time we'll not bring her out! ssshhhhh~)

On Sunday morning, all of us headed to the groomer for our full-grooming appointment @ 10am.. Finally! Mom even wrote a note the day before & left specific instructions for our groomer on how she wanted us to be groomed. Mermer & I went for the usual schnauzer cut & Tamy retained her Mohawk cut. Mom was back @ the shop 4 hours later & brought all 3 of us back home. Yes, she's very happy with the results b'coz our groomer never ever disappoints her, ever since i was 4 mths old till now. Emma had an even shorter beard now coz Mom wanted to try & 'recover' her 'used-to-be' white beard. But the problem is, she drools alot & most of the times - her beard is wet! Prays that with the new shampoo & short short beard from start, we can slowly recover Emma's beard. Oh btw, Tamy looks cute with the new thicker mohawk on her back, she looks like a UNICORN! =pp

Oh, it happens to be Singapore's birthday on Sunday too, Happy National Day~!!!

Yesterday (Monday) was a public holiday. All of us spent the day lazing @ home with Mom, Aunty Cat & our grand-pawrents! I had a great time wrestling with Tamy b'coz she kept on jumping onto my back & chewing my ears! Emma was watching us from the side & tried to fight Tamy off several times when she sees me succumbing & rolled on the floor (psssst! is not that im afraid of Tamy, im just being a gentleman & let Tamy wins!) But, see see! That's what 'siblings' are for right? We take care & protects one another! She's a naughty gal but sweet & lovely at times! I ("v") Emma to bits! Heez~

Mom's uploaded the pics into the PC yesterday, we'll try to post them all onto the blog tonite! Oh 1 more thing, Mom's promised to bring us all for a night-walk tomorrow b'coz she's heading to M'sia w/ the family from Fri-Sun. She wanted to spend some time with us first before she leaves. I'll be going to C's (Mom's buddy) house & Emma will be heading to her other 'love nest' aka Aunty Winnie's house. Hehehe^^

1 Aug 2009, dearie brought her boys over for "day-care" as she needed to be @ a family event which would last the whole day, starting early morning..

When the 2 boys reached my place @ 8+am, Ebi & Emma went out to greet them. It was a little noisy @ first since they always needs to 'quarrel & fight' first, muahahaa~ They soon settled down & started playing by themselves after i used some treats to lure them.. Hurhur^^

They played for awhile & i took all of them into the room with me while i countinued my sleep for another hour or so. Ebi & Junior cannot stop playing the whole time, Jester trying all means to 'join in' the fun with the 2 big boys & disturbing/stalking Emma while MerMer was chewing her nylabone away. When i awoke later in the noon, i took a bath, packed their stuffs & brought all of them to the park with my buddy @ around 3+pm.. =)

After our outing @ the park, we proceeded back home. It was already 7+ in the evening when we reached home. I did a through check on them, cleaned-up all of them & fed them dinner. They were all restless & concussed by then & went to sleep. Left them home with Mom for awhile while i went out for dinner. Back home by 9+pm & played with them & took a rest until dearie came & pick them up @ 11+pm..~

Weekends passes quickly..~

Nothing much went on over the past few days & over the weekends..~

Brought the dogs out for yet another night-walk session by the river. Nice scenery, quiet, very windy & relaxing. Awwww, im beginning to get addicted to having night walks with the duos! At least there's lesser crowd, lesser dogs (so Emma can't get to scream @ them) & is more windy so all of us don't sweat like usual. I'm sure Ebi & Emma the walks as much as me too. =pp

On Saturday morning, i went back to work, then back home in the noon to do the housework chores & then cooked HCF again for the dogs. By 4pm i was finally free & started bathing the dogs one by one, with my buddy (the duo's god-daddy) dropping by to assist me in blowing dry them. I think he can be a professional blower now, LOL~ Yippee, he has been more free for the past 2 saturdays to dropby & help (I hope he drops by more often tho, so i could bath Ebi - he blowdry while i go ahead to bath Emma.. By the time im done with Emma, Ebi would have been dried already & i'll pass Emma over to blow-dry while i take go a shower myself) When im done, i'll 'finalise' by giveing them a through brushing & dematting. See, it saves alot of time & effort when i have 'assistants' to help.. Hurhur^^ We were finally done by 6pm & proceeded to Downtown East for my fav. ice-cream waffle @ Gelare. *YuMmYyyyyyyyyyy*

Sunday, Cat & I went over to my Big-Aunt's place @ Hougang as Couzzie Royston is bringing his coming 2-years old baby gal, Maegan over. We fetched my Small-Aunt & Uncle along the way & went there at 3pm. We also brought Ebi along with us so he could play with Maegan. When we arrived, Ebi was very excited as he finds the place really familiar. He kept on exploring the house & made sure he sniffed & checked every corners. The last time he was there was probably during Chinese New Year this year. When Royston & family arrived, Ebi went into hiding coz of the ruckus the others were making when Maegan stepped into the house..aiyOoo, such a timid boy. Tsk Tsk! Anyway, Ebi warmed up soon enough & went to check-out Maegan & the rest of the humans. Maegan was a little afraid of "Ah Bi - as what she calls Ebi" initially, but was soon seen patting him & playing with him. (",)

Then, Maegan went to change her pampers & ran out to the living room w/o having her pants on. Ebi just had to check her out & thus, kept on sniffing her butt & followed her all over the house. Everyone of us was giggling when Maegan ran alittle & Ebi chased after her, as if playing catching. Then she would get so 'gan-chiong' & quickly run to her Mummy's arms. Then when Maegan was playing ball with her daddy, Ebi had been aiming @ the squeaky ball from start (Ebi loves all sorts of squeaky toys!) & was looking for a chance to *strike* LOL. So when the ball rolled under the fish-tank, Ebi quickly ran over to grab the ball & went into hiding, leaving Maegan frowning away. So cuteeeeeeeeeee!! Muahahaa~

For dinner, Big-Aunt fried a big wok of Bee-Hoon with many many ingredients & prepared a big pot of Lipton Tea (Teh-O) to go along. Delicious~~! Meanwhile, Cat & I played Mahjong with my Small-Aunt & Uncle while the rest were lazing around, playing with Maegan & watching TV. Ebi was either sleeping beside my seat or walking around the house & checking out Maegan~ =)) We ended the day @ 10+ with Maegan going home 1st around 9+pm. We bidded farewell & headed home. All of us enjoyed ourselves~ =))

Poor Emma was home with her Granny coz i could't bring her over along with us. She detest babies/children, thus i cannot risk having her to scream into Maegan's face & make her cry later. Sighhh.

Weekends passes especially fast & it's Monday again.. *yawns* (Monday Bluesssssss)!
I'm so looking forward to the long weekend (Aug 8-10) already!! Oh, during this time, we also have Tamy coming over to stay with us for 6 days when Ah Chel goes to BKK, afterwhich we are all leaving for Genting on 14th for a family trip! Yippee yippee, getting all excited!!

18 July 2009, off we are to Sentosa again.. YiPpYyyYy~!!

This time round though, is an impromptu gathering organised by Rachel~ She kept on tempting me during our MSN chat which was simply hard to resist. LOL~ I've been wanting to go Sentosa 2 weeks ago & finally, we were able to make it again this time round! Hurhur^^ Thus, I brought along Ebi & Emma to go swimming. Heez~ Rachel & Garry brought Toby & Tamy, I also happens to meet Rachel's friends whom came with 2 dogs;- Toto, the silky terrier & Gigi, the 'mini' jack russell~

6.30am, i woke up to send my parents to work. Then i drove the car back home, pack the bags & stuffs, took a bath & finally left home @ 8.25am to Sentosa. I reached promptly @ 9.00am & waited for the rest to come. Rachel was kind enuff to buy me breakfast from Macdonalds.. YumMy! *muack* =p

While waiting for the others to arrive @ the children's water-playground area, we rested & took some pictures. The duos also met their 1st doggy friend of the day, a very cool & obedient Lab. When Rachel & gang arrived, we proceeded further down the beach & 'parked' there to have our breaky & then, swimming with the dogs.

3 hrs later, it started drizzling just as we got out of the waters to rinse the dogs & packup our stuffs.. *aRgGhhhh* It didn't rained long though, probably 20mins or so? Soon, the sun was out shining brightly again, after we finished rinsing & towel-drying the dogs. We took turns to look after the dogs while the rest went to bath & change. It was pretty windy too, as the dogs got dried very quickly. By 1.15pm, all of us had left Sentosa & proceeded back home.. (",)

Good thing is, the waters are exceptionally clean today (just like as per usual, except for the 2 previous occasions i was there..) However, i do not like the 'life-guards' on duty yesterday. Previous times i was there, the guards didn't bother about me & other people not leashing the dogs on the shoreline near the waters, as long as the dogs don't run freely on the other parts of the beach. But yesterday, the guards came over twice, to 'remind' me that the dogs can only be unleashed "IN THE WATERS". What the heck! Different beach has different policy?? Guards @ Tanjong Beach says the dogs can be unleashed on the shore @ the sea-line, though not allowed to run free on the beach & even Palawan didn't bother about having dogs running freely on the shoreline near the waters in previous occasions. So, they simply can change the rules anytime they wants to? *HmMpHh* Unleash the dogs when they enters waters, leash them up again 'right after' they comes out of the waters..?? (-_-") I really don't see what the problem is since there was't much people @ the beach yesterday, much less to mention that Ebi & Emma was along the shoreline near the waters or inside the waters most of the time what. Yes, i does agree that TJB is the unofficial 'doggy beach' but somehow, i still prefers Palawan coz of the better toilet facilities, more open-shower areas & the 7-11/ foodcourts/ beach bars nearby where we can easily grab food/drinks anytime. Perhaps, next time we shall stick & go on Sundays instead as maybe, the guards are more.. "open-minded". LOL~

Right after Sentosa, i went to fetch my parents home. Then, i prepared lunch for the duos & showered them myself. *Phew* So tired & my back was aching badly. I was all done by 6pm, finally took a bath & rest b4 heading to my Grandpa's home for another Mahjong session with my relatives again, muahahaha~

Brought the dogs out for a late-night walk last Friday. We walked from 12.30am to 2am, then proceeding to the 24hr Mac @ East Coast for supper.. Hurhur^^

The duos enjoyed the walk alot, so did we. It was very cooling & windy! Since there wasn't much people around, we walked to a corner & i off-leashed the dogs to let them roam. They did not wander away from us & stayed close most of the times though. They behaved well & did not bark when they meet other dogs or see strangers running past. It was a nice place to sit down, chat & relax while the dogs played on their own. Most importantly, the place was clean! Ebi & Emma did not leave a single trace of pee there though Ebi did poop a little. But i do have my waste bags with me all the time too whenever i brings them out so i could clean after them. =)

We reached home by 3.30am, quickly do a through check & cleanup for the dogs & it was off to bed! It was going to be another hectic saturday for me..~

Woke up early on Saturday morning to prepare breakfast, then it was off to the market to buy beef, pork & pig hearts for the dogs. (Their dehydrated treats finished last week & this new batch could last them for another 2-3 weeks) Next, i vaccummed the whole house & cleaned/pack the messy stuffs lying around. Then, i went on to prepare HCF for the dogs, feed them & allowed them to rest while i cleanup the kitchen & wash the dishes. Next, i went on to bath Ebi, blowdry & brushed him then followed by Emma. It was already 6pm by the time i was all done. Super shagged & tiring *back-aching*! Then i finally got to bath & rest & went over to Grandpa's house for mahjong session with my aunts. Kekeke =p

Sunday, i didn't manage to get much rest either. Breakfast with Mom+Dad early morning, then it was off to East Coast Park for cycling with Sis+BIL & the 2 kids. Didn't bring the dogs along since i just bathed them on Sat. We cycled for 2 hours & had ice-cream in between, then finally proceeding to Lagoon for our lunch cum dinner. BIL jio-ed us for Mahjong, though tired - we decided to go ahead & accompany him since it was his actual birthday. I went home to bath @ 5pm, prepared another HCF dinner for the dogs, feed them & went over to Sis's house with Cat. We played Mahjong all the way from 7+pm to 12+am, then proceeded to Geylang for supper & it was finally home sweet home. Awwwww~ very tiring weekends yet very fruitful! I loves spending time with my dogs, family & friends~! (",)

05 July 2009, we held our MS Gathering @ K9 Kampus~ It's been pretty long since we all got-together (like how we used to held our almost monthly MS outings over SPC forum last time) & im really glad the gathering on Sunday was a success! The gathering was great! Everyone took the initiative to chat with new owners & made new friends. Dogs had the freedom to run around freely in the cafe, the enclosed area outside & the dog-run. Finally, all of us bidded farewell nearing 3pm & went back home. I sent the duos to Gladys for a bathing session while dearie sent hers to Simon. We then proceeded to Haagen-Dazs for ice-cream & waffle while waiting for the dogs to be done. Super enjoyable~!

The dogs K.O-ed when we finally reached home around 5+pm! I took a shower & went for a short nap with them before waking up for dinner, then off to sleep again~ LOL! My weekends past ultimately fast especially when i gets to bring the dogs out for some fun. But then again, as long as they are happy, im happy too! =p

Perhaps we should plan for a pot-luck session @ Sentosa again, the next round. Ebi & Emma is no longer afraid of the waters now & they loves to swim (provided im in the waters too.. -_-") We shall see.. (",)

27 June, Saturday. BBQ session with SG' North group. Met up with Adeline+Victor, Gennie, Brian+Serene, Huey Fern, Stella+Hock & met some new faces;- Sandy, Candy, Alex+Lena eg. Another "special guest" also dropped by @ night~

ECP was very crowded on Saturday! There were pretty much muslim families & the place was pretty much loaded with tents! Thank goodness, all of these did not pose any problems to us as we kept to our own area most of the time. The weather was perfect though it was a little hot @ first. BBQ food was good! *thumbs up*

Tiring Sunday~~

Sigh. Been unable to update my blog with pictures coz internet is down @ home..(Boo!) For 3 days already i wasn't able to surf the net/check emails @ home. Called to make an appointment on Monday, the technician is finally coming down tomorrow to check on the new modem & solve the issue. He better do so!!!

Anyway, last Sunday was a very hectic day. Early morning we went to Bugis for breakfast then went to pray to Goddess Of Mercy & *thanks-giving* (as Cat passed her driving test @ 1st time when we went to pray the week before..) Heez~ After that, Dad droved us to Tekka market on the way home, cause i wanted to get some beef meats & wing tips to dehydrate as the treats for the dogs already finished. =p

After reaching home & looking at the nice weather (not too hot, cloudy), we put on the collars & leash on the dogs & decided to bring them to the dog-run @ pasir ris. Upon reaching there & parking the car, i saw a familiar car & wondered whether it could be Josephine? Just as i wondered, Cat saw Ozzy running towards the gate where we are, followed by Rocky.. Hahaha~ How coincidence! Didn't expect to meet her & the trios there at all as we didn't planned to meet. Heez

The 4 schnauzers happily ran around the field & barked @ other dogs while Tessie hides under Jo most of the time. After an hour or so, i saw a familiar Honda driving into the carpark & looked @ the carplate no. - seems familiar, look like Winnie's car. Just then Cat saw Winnie in the passenger seat with Junior. LOL~ This is sooooo coincidenceeeeeeee!!! Aiyoyooooooo. Buy 4D also never so 'zhun' man!

Jester has grown to be such a big boy. He seems to grow bigger everytime i met him. His furnishings are so bushy, he resembles a small black bear running around the field. Whahahaa! Junior is still the good & lovely boy as usual~ It was nice to see them playing & running about. We stayed at the corner near the small-dogs area & everytime another bigger dog 'intrudes' the area, Jester & Emma would bark & chase them off. Tsk tsk tsk!! Ohhh, we also met suki_grace there too with her MS, but i couldn't differentiate whether it was Suki/Miko? Hurhur^^

Winnie didn't stayed long though, probably about 45mins.. since she was sending her boys to the groomer for their bathing session. Jo & I left together at about 2.45pm or so~ I did not send the dogs to the groomers, decided not to be lazy, thus i brought them back home & bathed them myself..~

Upon reaching home, i cleaned them up first & checked for ticks. Allowed them to rest while i went to lay the 1.5kg beef meats & 20pcs wing tips to dehydrate which i bought early in the morning @ Tekka. Then, i used the balance meats (not enough trays, lol) to cook HCF with chopped carrots for them as their lunch/dinner. After the meal, i started with bathing Ebi first. Then, i dried him as much as possible with the absorbent towel, followed by blowing dry & brushing/dematting. Next, i vacummed & mopped my room with the neem wash (just in case) & left Ebi in the room to sleep. I bathed Emma next, dried her with towel & blowdry, followed by brushing & dematting - she took me a longer time since she has thicker fur. Oh, i also managed to take out the fan to wash & clean, then the aircon's filter too. After sending Emma to the room & sleep, i proceeded to clean up the kitchen & vacummed the kitchen floor. Then, i went on to vacuum the living room & mom's room as well. It was 8pm after all these were done. I finally sat down to have my dinner, then proceeded to bath & last thing to do, was to change my bedsheets & blanket. *Phew* It was already 9pm when i could finally rest on my bed & watch my TV. (",)

Such a tiringggggggggg day indeed! I hardly ever 'push' myself to complete so many tasks in 1/2 a day, keke. But once i starts, i cannot stop otherwise i will stop doing everything altogether. LOL! My arms & back were aching from all the chores! I think it's all worth it though, coz i likes to keep the house neat & clean. Therefore, I does the household chores every week if i can~ =p

This time round, we went to Palawan Beach @ Sentosa. Nope, it's not our usual schnauzer gathering nor doggy meet-ups session..~

We purely wanted to go for a swim & pinic with the kids. Sis & Bro-In-Law brought Ryan, Belle didn't came as she was down with fever. I brought Ebi (coz Emma hates the waters more than Ebi) with me & Hoe + AiLing came as well.

We met at 10+am & proceeded to open up my portable table alongside the coconut trees where there's alot of shade & parked ourselves right beside the open shower area (easy access). Hahaha! Then, the hungry monsters (all of us) started to feast on first, before we leave for the waters. Hurhur^^

We had a great day! Suprsingly, Ebi was very willing to swim today! At around 2+pm, I gave Ebi a through rinse & dried him before sending him to Gladys thereafter. We swam from 11+am all the way till 3+pm before we rinsed ourselves, packed & leave for home. Super tired! My back, arms & legs were aching all over! Gosh~

Oh oh, the new 32" inch SHARP LCD TV (great deal!) i bought was delivered when i was in Sentosa on Saturday noon, luckily Mom was home. Hahaha~ They shifted my old working TV outside & installed the new one for me. Gorgeous!! Though it's a little huge, but we loves it! It doesn't make any sense if i were to get a smaller 19" Sony / 26" LG when i can top-up a mere $100 for the 32" Sharp LCD TV isn't it? We enjoyed watching the TV with Hub-Station now even more! On the aircon, rest on the bed & watch our favourite HK dramas on the huge screen.. super enjoyable! Geez~

Yeap, we were off to the beach again! This was sorta arranged last minute coz some of us couldn't make it to the Kranji Farm event which Ade was planning. Nevertheless, Gary suggested Sentosa & the few of us agreeded immediately. =)

Initially i wasn't able to go coz i didn't have the car to use since Dad needs the car in the morning. Jo then offered to pick me & the dogs up at approx 8.30am~ On saturday night, good news came. My buddy agreed to go with me so i have help in handling the dogs & he offered to drive us there in his new car. Yippee~

We reached Sentosa nearly 10am & met-up with Ade + Victor (Cobi), Gennie (Wilbur & Sweetie) & Jo (Ozzy, Tessie & Rocky) there. Gary, Kat & Nicholas was there with (Sniper & Julius) since 8+am! On the way to look for Gary, we also happen to met DoDo & MoMo with the Jacketeers gang! Such coincidence! (",)

Soon after, it was off to swimming time! I didn't wanna get myself wet, so Jo & Gary helped me to bring the dogs into the water & let them swim. Hurhur^^

Oh, did i mention Ebi became the 'attraction' of the day? LOL~ No idea why, but the male schnauzers were all so interested in him suddenly. They took turns to sniff & lick him non-stop & follows wherever he goes. Ebi & Julius kept playing the 'hugging game' & this is the first time - i see Ebi run & play catching so happily with all the other male schnauzers running & chasing after him. Hahaha~ He must have emited a very special scent on Sunday. Weird - becoz after water rinsing, Ebi still smelt so nice whereas Emma smelt of 'seawater'. LOLLL!

We left Sentosa around 12+pm & after rinsing, Jo & I proceeded to Urban Pooch with our dogs. We had our lunch there & we ordered some doggy food for the dogs too. It started to rain heavily soon after & just when we finished our lunch, the rain stopped. Good timing! Kekeke

It was all quiet coz we were the only ones there. Emma just had the occasional barks & minor screams @ the boarding dogs. Until a family walked in with their beagle. Emma just starts her nonsense & cannot stop screaming @ that poor dog. I just don't understand why she simply cannot stand bigger dogs around her. Arghhhh~!!

Anyway, we bidded farewell & i sent the duos off to Gladys for their bathing session. While waiting (2 hours to go..) we decided to head over to Giant @ Tampines to do some shopping. Oh, i also managed to get my 320GB External HDD @ a mere $89.00 over there! It happened to be on promo & it was the last day! Cheap!! Have been looking for 1 to backup my photos & mp3s in the PC. =p Am pretty much lucky today eh, everything went smoothly~! =) We went off to pickup the dogs @ 5pm & then drive over to check-out the "mini park" that i've been wanting to see. Nice!

I think this is a pretty much nice place to have doggie gatherings! We can off-leash the dogs & let them roam around the place while owners can sit @ the shelter to chit-chat. We could probably also bring along our own food & drinks & have a mini pot-luck session. LOL~ But most importantly - owners really gotta keep their eyes on the dogs unless we can block off the staircases (5-6 i think). Geez

I sent the duos home & went off for dinner + dessert session with my buddy. Reached home @ 7+pm, took a bath, on the aircon, watched the tv & slept @ 9.30pm! The duos were dead tired & fell asleep soon too!

(1) Ebi requires a lot of attention & always needs to be in human's company - otherwise, he whines alot & can become a destroyer @ home. Ebi cannot be left alone for long hours & he's not able to sleep alone @ nite either. I must admit that Ebi is very dependent on us & he hates being alone, even for a short while.

(2) Emma is possesive. She gets jealous if she sees us rolling on the bed & cuddling with Ebi, not her. When she's on our laps, she wants us only & does not likes Ebi to come near. She hates it when she sees us carrying other dogs too. Once, she growled & barked when my Mom *jokingly* beated me. Emma never wanders far from me & always runs back to check what im doing/where am i.. protective? Hurhur^^

Ebi's 3rd Barkday (Part 2)~!!!

Ebi officially turns 3 yesterday. Even though we had celebrated for him on Sunday, I still decided to get some nice food for him on the actual day. After surfing the net & coming to a decision, was disappointed to find that the shop does not opens on Mondays! Arghhhhhh! There goes my plan. Nevertheless, i decided to compensate to my baby boy & brought him to the shop to get his goodie food this afternoon. =)

It's my first time there & i must say the place is pretty nice. Place is clean & stuffs neatly packed, staffs are friendly & there was also a cute little mini schnauzer there running around. Their food is pretty good & with the storewide 15% discount on-going promotion, it was very very worth it!

I placed an order for 2 x Porky Stew Pie, 2 x Shepherd's Pie & 1 x Lamb Meatballs with them this morning & picked up the food with Ebi @ 3.45pm~ (",)

Goodies! All these costed me less than $10! *thumbs up*

They simply loves the food! The pies are full of meat & vege - looks very healthy! Moreover, they are freshly baked everyday & the prices are very reasonable. Guess i'll be visiting them more often now to get goodies for the duos~ =)

Yeah, my baby boy turns 3 tomorrow. How time flies~ It has been 2 years 9 months since he's been with us. All of us had watched him grown from the smallest & thinnest baby in the litter to the big healthy boy he is now. (",)

Planned this celebration weeks ago & i wanna thank GOD, for the good weather (though it was a little too hot)! We brought the dogs to the park (with Ah Chel & sisters joining us), then we headed to K9 Kampus for lunch while Ah Chel sent her dogs for full-grooming & then collected the food & cake from USDB which i've ordered last week. We celebrated Ebi's barkday there with Ade & her sister joining us for lunch. It's our first time there & I must agree that the place is pretty good with friendly staffs. Am pretty much addicted to the place now - where the dogs can roam & play while owners enjoys their lunch & can buy doggy food from USDB - so much variety!

I will definately be back there with the dogs & perhaps, i can organise a gathering again & our Schnauzer gang can gather there to have fun! =p

We left K9 at 4.45pm , headed back to Bedok & i sent the duos to Gladys for a good scrubbing session! I went home to repack their cupboard, vaccummed the room, changed their beds & blankets, take a bath & finally proceeded to pick them up @ 8.00pm~

All of us sure enjoyed ourselves today & man, we are soooooooooo tired! I even got a teeny weeny bit of sunburn on my arms & face! Nevertheless, as long as Ebi boy spent his barkday happily - everything is worthwhile! =p

Ebi & Emma Full-Grooming ~

Yep, just sent the duos for full-grooming AGAIN on last Sunday noon. I remembered the last grooming they had was only on 11 April. Anyway, after much consideration, i've decided to stop signing up for the "grooming packages" offered by RPP, which includes 3 basic groom & 1 full groom. Over the past 1 year plus, i've been getting the packages which requires me to complete all the grooming within 2 months & approximately every 2.5 mths, i have to pay $180 for 2 dogs to renew their grooming packages. It works out to $900 a year if i've bought 5 packages.

Reason being to stop is;- since the basic & full grooming has to be completed within 2 months from the date i signed up the package, it means i'll send them for their grooming every 3 weeks over 2 months. However, i realised sometimes - there is nothing much to groom, eg. nails/ears/hygiene areas (all of which i can do myself, just that is a matter of want to or not. =p) Thus, i decided to stop the package grooms & send them for full-grooming every 2 months instead.

Minus points;- from now on, i have to bath them myself more often (they are bathed every weekly), unless i got lazy & send them to the groomers.. =p & maybe every 2 weeks, i'll have to do basic groom on them & get myself scratched.. ={

Plus points; they won't get to look too messy as full-grooming is fixed at every 2 months, save on the transport as i only travels to RPP once every 2 months instead of 4 times over 2 months & most importantly, i gets to save $300+ a year! (Oh yeah, i can use the $300 to buy more collars & more food to dehydrate!) Tsktsk~ (",)

My calendar too has been marked on the dates to remind myself to send the dogs to Marc every 2 months.. Hurhur^^

Ebi & his flat mohawk, LOL~ Didn't have the thickness of fur to make it puffy as he was still pretty neat when sent to Marc. I'll let it grow for another 2 more months & ask Marc to cut Mohawk again. Though flat, but still looks good. Hehe~

This is the new drawer c/w sliding mirror i was talking about. Since this is lower than the shelve, Emma can reach the hammie cage easier. She does this all the time whenever she hear noises coming out of the cage, especially at night. I does pray & hope she don't try anything funny to them when nobody's home.

Sunday - very very HOT day. The weather is simply killing! Dreaded going outta the house but nevertheless, i brought Ebi & Emma to PMDR for a short run before i head them over to Marc @ RPP. I've changed their full-grooming appointment to Sunday afternoon @ 4pm coz i can't make it on 30 May morning. As usual, there were soooo many dogs @ the dog-run but no schnauzers @ sight. The 2 of them started getting all anxious the moment i turned in & parked the car. Whined & whined non-stop. Got off the car & they were basically dragging me into the dog-run. Off-leashed the duos & let them run the moment i took a quick glance & see its all safe. Hahaa~ The place still smelt rather bad but at least, there isn't much unpicked poos around this time round - so not too bad. Quite a handful of Goldens & Shetlands today, Ebi had fun running around & making friends while playing chase. Oh, did i mention Ebi got accidentally stepped by a GR when he went over, wanting to play with the group of them? *Ouch*! Emma on the other hand was glued to me & followed wherever i was walking. She panicked when i left them for a few secs to get the towel from the car, the worried look on her face was really funny! We stayed for 45mins & left for RPP. They were so tired-out in the car. Reached Marc's place @ 4pm exactly & handed them over for grooming. Asked for a mohawk on Ebi & puppy-face for Emma. I was back to pick them up @ 7pm. These were taken 2 weeks ago. Didn't realise that i've forgotten to upload them here until i was browsing thru the photo albums. Hehe~

Anyway, these was taken on a fine evening after work wherby i cycled Ebi in the poochie pouch, to the nearest park which was 5-8 minutes away from home. I cycled till the middle part of the park, took a rest & off-leashed Ebi to do his business (i does pick up the poo ok? =.="), let him drink some water & run about the pavillion. Rather fun because there isn't much people/dogs around. Here's some pictures i took.. Hurhur^^

After that i cycled home with Ebi running beside me, with me holding onto his leash on my left hand. I must say we 'co-ordinated' rather well & he knows relatively well how to keep a safe distance from the wheels, run slow & stop at the right time. Ebi enjoyed his short little running trip home & so did i. Cleaned him up, gave him water & he laid on the bed almost immediately. LOL~ I'll do this more often to make him run & exercise, perhaps twice a week or so. Emma on the other hand, i tried the same way to bring her out to buy dinner the day before, but there's no way she could co-ordinate & run beside me. Thus, i had to poochie-pouch her all the way. *Sigh* But if i could off-leash her, i can trust her running before/after me wherever i go. But, hell no! Way too dangerous. So now, i'll 'exercise' with Ebi first. =p

Oh yeah, im happy! I finally got my hands on Sis's *un-used cupboard* - cleared all the clothes, bags & eg. (to be donated off) then cleaned it up & now re-use it for Ebi & Emma's stuffs ; beds, carriers, new bowls, apparels, pee pads & toys. Yippee! The sense of satisfication when i packed all their barangs in... *great*! No longer having to find space to squeeze their stuffs nor having their stuffs falling outta my cupboard. LOL~ I also got a new 3-tier drawer with a sliding mirror to replace my 3-tier shelve. One of the drawer shall be used to store their collars, brush, grooming products & eg. Suddenly, i have the urge to revamp my room. Next i would really like to repaint the room - but guess that will have to wait. Muahahaa~

In another 11 days, my big baby boy is turning 3 years old~ Time passes real fast, unknowingly we've already celebrated 2 birthdays for him. Cum the 3rd, Cat & I are planning to just have a small barkday celebration for him, bring the dogs out for some fun, buy some doggy food & most importantly, a cake for our dearest.

It's pretty much tiring & many work to organise for parties & moreover, there isn't much pet-cafes around anymore. We'll just do a small-scale celebration for Ebi like what we had for Emma last year - the one we did for Ah Mer on the actual day @ home, not the one @ sentosa~ Fun, easy & comfortable..! =)

Since Ebi's barkday falls on Monday, we'll bring forward & celebrate for him on Sunday - 31 May. I've already planned where to bring the dogs to as well. Hurhur^^ Location, doggy food & cake has been booked earlier on. All we need to do is just to collect the food & cake on sunday = tadah! Buddy's joining Cat & Me coz he offered to be the chauffeur of the day & drive us & the dogs around in his new Suzuki Swift! Yippeeee~! Oh, had also ordered a new collar from Hamish & a new matching dog tag as his barkday pressie, from Ebi's 'god-pa' & 'yi-yi'. Muahahaa~

Sounds like it's going to be fun! Am soooooooo looking forward already. I know our dogs will love us for all these for sure. Hurhur^^

Oh gosh! I realise i hasn't posted the pictures taken during Cobi's & Ody's wonderful barkday pawty~!

Pardon me, i've been too tired-out recently. LOL~

I just learnt & started playing Mahjong with my aunties & grandpa like, 3 weeks ago? Thennnnnnn, i got hooked!! =p The addiction was soon passed over to my sisters & now, during the holidays/weekend - we goes over to my elder sis's place & plays Mahjong (3 of us + Sam, my BIL). Muahahaa~ Pretty addictive really. Time passes really fast this way & it's also a good bonding session for us. Hurhur^^

Anyway, last Saturday i met up with sis for dinner (bak-kut-teh) @ Vivocity, then headed towards Dragonfly & met up with Cat, Raymond & Joe. I was itching for Mahjong & tempting my sisters to play. We left Dragonfly after Queen band's first set @ about 2.30am - then headed back to sis place in Kallang & met up with Kelvin there. Since BIL gotta work on Sun, 3 of us + Kelvin took his place & started the mahjong at 3am~ Yesssss, 3 am!! Whahahaha. It was fun though we had to restrict & not make too much noise as Sam was sleeping. Kekeke~ We played all the way till 7am, having supper in between (thanks sis!) & everybody zonked out. Cat & I slept over @ sis's house while Kelvin drove back home.

At 8.30am, Mom called & said they are on the way to meet us for breakfast before fetching us home. OMG, i only slept like 1 hour..... *yawns* Anyway, it was a long day on Sunday - i reached home & slept from 10.30am-12.30pm Then, i woke up to do my stuffs, do some housework, cooked HCF & fed the dogs then proceeding to dematt & bath Ebi. Rachel came over around 4+pm to collect her stuffs & i brought Emma down to meet them. (Amazingly, Emma never bark/scream when she saw Toby & Tamy, she just sniffed them & turned away. She did not even make a single noise @ the cat lying nearby too, wherby she normally would have wanted to kill the cat. Muahahaa~ How weird!) Anyway, Tamy gal has grown & she still look as cute as usual while Toby still looked handsome. Hurhur^^ I brought Emma back home, dematted & bathed her too before i went for my shower. I was done by 7.30pm & by then i was so knocked-out. I was toooooo tired & lazy to even clean the hamster cage & change the beddings. I'll do it today or tomorrow when i gets home.

Time is like never enough for me, so many things to do but so little time! Am looking forward to the next mahjong session & also, the next trip to ECP where i can bring the dogs for cycling. Oh btw, i just bought a bicycle last Thursday. It was time for Ebi to exercise as i could cycle him to the park & let him run. Also easier for me to get to the central, NTUC to buy things or to the banks eg. On Friday, I poochie-pouched Ebi to the nearby park & had him run back all the home with me cycling & him running by the side. We co-ordinated really well & both of us enjoyed ourselves alot. Was thinking to do it twice a week, with Ebi & Emma taking turns. The next trip, i'll bring Emma. Hehe~

Yesssssss, the duos loves to play together. They chases, they fights, they rolls around on the floor together, they play-bites & they simply loves tug-of-war. I feels glad when i sees them getting along well & playing happily. Though most of the times Emma is the submissive one & allows Ebi to do anything to her, she does gets angry & snaps back if Ebi gets too rough. But, I too had to interfere if they are playing too rough or gets too 'high' chasing each other around the house, flying up & down all over the sofa, table-top & our beds.

Newae, here's some pics i took of them last week which i've forgotten to upload. Been alittle busy for the past few weekends & everytime i comes home after work during the weekdays, i got plain lazy to even login to my PC. Hurhur^^

The 'long holidays' had been great. Good Friday, Labour Day & next coming up, we have Vesak Day~! Last Friday was spent rotting @ sis house playing mahjong & steamboat for dinner, Saturday we had BBQ @ East Coast Park & followed by another mahjong session late into the night & finally Sunday, we attended Cobi & Ody's barkday pawty. This was a day i've been looking forward to coz it's been a long time since i last saw those MS kakis. Ebi & Emma had loads of fun chasing the dogs, butt-sniffing & playing, they even had delicious doggy food & cake! The human food was great too. Cat & Me had yet another BBQ! The pawty was great & definately well-organised! Great food, great location & nice people & dogs~ I'll upload the photos again tomorrow~ *Pardon me, im sooo tired!*

Btw, i must have too much 'rich & delicious' food over the weekends that i fell sick & was on MC today. Headache & diahorrea - doc suspected food poisoning (damn! must be the fish & chips i had for supper after the pawty & bbq!) & wanted to give me an injection which i declined politely & insisted on tablets. LOL~ Was asked to go back to the clinic for the injection if i didn't get better. Anyway, i wished i had to go back, since it means another day of MC. Oooopppss! Haha~ But im glad im all right now & poor me, im going back to work tomorrow! Looking forward to Sat now.. =p

These were taken last saturday night, after they went for their full-grooming session. As always, the results always turns out as expected & good. Emma's fur is much shorter now, easier to maintain with lesser matts & staining of fur by urine & i can see she feels more cooling & lesser licking too. Both of them loves to 'nua' on our beds though they slept on their own bed/mattress most of the times. Nowadays, I wakes up every morning with Ebi asleep beside/behind me (when i sleeps on my left side) & Emma sleeping near my feet. Is as though my bed is not small & crampy enough, they have to 'barge in' & squeeze with me..~

Boring Saturday.. BoOhOoZz!

Had loads of fun for the past few weekends! Today is a boring one with me staying home with the dogs after work, napping @ home & then going to grandma's place. I could see Ebi & Emma feeling & looking bored too. *yawns*

No choice though, the weather is KILLING~!! It's so darn freaking HOT, and i really mean HOT. I was perspiring even when i was napping during the noon right under the fan (speed 3 - highest) that i had to turn on the aircon. Not to mention that my place is considered cooling & windy most of the time, with no 'sunlight' coming in. (-_-") I had planned to take the dogs to ECP for cycling initially, but looking at the weather i aborted the idea coz i think we'll all get heat-stroke. LOL~

Was @ work from 9am-1pm, then met up with dearie & too for lunch @ the kopitiam opposite my office as i needed to pass her some stuffs. Woot, great lunch definately. I realised i hasn't been seeing her for sometime already? Missed her neh.. *blush* Anyway, after lunch, i proceeded to Angel's place slightly after 2pm to pass her the gummi collars she ordered. Her pair of ST's - Boboi & Shona was ultra friendly! They did not bark when i was @ the door but instead welcoming me with hyper wagging tails. Both of them still look as cute even with their fur shaved down & Ah Boi still has his mohawk. Shona is the playful cute little gal while Boboi is the manja one that loves cuddles. In fact, he's pretty big & meaty, very nice to hug. Muahahaha~ *ShEessHh* During the time i was there, they kept running & jumping around, asking me to sayang them.. awwwwww~ Oh, when i was sitted down talking to Angel.. Boboi even stood behind me & placed his 2 front paws on my shoulder, so cute right?? Hahaha! Very lovely dogs! They smelt great by the way~ =)

Brought Ebi over to Grandma's place with me for yet another mahjong session. Im a beginner & i just learned how to play the basic mahjong (they call it.. 'cold table' or HK style or something? Hmmm..) Played with Grandpa, Da-Yi & Xiao-Yi, not too bad today - no win no loss. Hurhur^^ We had the longest game today as we played from 7pm-11pm, something to keep me entertained at least. =p

It's Sunday & im still thinking if i wanna bring the dogs out. Been very long since we visited the dog-run, but im seriously very afraid of the ticks getting onto them. After the episode @ home the other time when a friend brought her dog over & my place & dogs became infested with ticks, i had a 'phobia'. Hahaa! Anyway, it all depends on the weather - i hope it gets a little cooler so perhaps i can bring them for a cycling session or even a long walk @ ECP. And yes, finally it's bathing time for them tomorrow! They smelt bad pretty fast now that the weather is so hot & they have been perspiring & panting more heavily than usual. I'll cook them some nice HCF before i shower them & give them a good scrub. Geez!

It was Good Friday, thus we enjoyed a long weekend from friday - sunday, yippee!! Outings were planned in advance instead of wasting the holiday @ home. We finally came to a decision on thursday & prayed for good weathers. Friday = Cycling @ ECP + Lunch @ Lagoon with Daddy, Me&Ebi, Cat&Kelvin, Joan(Do's colleague)&Melvin + Kids, Doreen&Sam + Kids, yes all 8 of us & 5 little ones. Poor MerMer had to be home with Mummy because Cat can't cycle well & having her to poochie-pouch Emma infront is a tad too dangerous for both of them. Furthermore, there are 4 kiddies around! Yes, they could stress her out & Emma cannot get along with kids, so we thought it was wiser to leave her home..~

Oh yes! I also finally managed to get another poochie pouch for Ebi! I didn't get size 6 though coz it was way too big for him! (-_-") Thus i got another size 5 in blue (last piece!) for him, from K1 @ Bedok. However, this batches seems different from the red Emma had. Hers was more of the 'waterproof' & puffy material while this blue looks more 'fabric' kinda material. And it seems to be bigger in measurement too than the red. Good, coz it fitted Ebi very well! =)

We met @ East Coast Park (Macdonalds) for breakfast at 10am, then proceeded to a 2-hour cycling session from 11am-1pm, then we rested awhile & proceeded for lunch @ lagoon. It was also then that i saw a black schnauzer from far & i realised it looked like Julius. I was right, walked nearer & saw Nicholas with him & Kat catch up soon after. They had just went to Sentosa for a swim & back at lagoon for lunch. I then saw Sniper with Gary too. Such coincidence~ =) Timing was just so right, just as we finished lunch ard 3pm, it started raining after i sent Cat, Daddy & Ebi home. It got even heavier just after i sent Doreen&Sam + kids home.. Phew~!!

The day ended well & everybody had fun! Cat could cycle better & more stable now, i told her next time round, she'll have to poochie-pouch Emma infront. Hurhur~ Thank GOD for the good weather. After all the cleaning up & bathing, we were all so shagged & it was definately nice to sleep in the rainy weather. *yawns*

My duos were supposed to go for full-grooming in the noon with Marc @ 2pm & 3pm, since i was free in the morning, i called my buddy & we decided to bring the dogs to Sentosa & let them play in the sand with their pals & then head straight to the groomers after that. I also asked Jo along since her trios were going for full-grooming in the noon too. We joined Adeline & her friends outing @ Sentosa (Tanjong Beach) which she had emailed me earlier. It was also the 1st time i hangs out with some of them & i must say, they are very nice & friendly people~ There were Adeline+Victor w/ Cobi, HueyFern+Partner w/ Princess whom i've already met before, Gennie with her pair of Chihuahuas & Mini Maltese, Brian+Serene w/ Dodo & Momo & Pamela+Shaun w/ Ody joined us shortly. =p

Yeahhhhhhhh! Ebi finally learnt how to swim properly! He no longers panic & beats the water hard. He could swim back to shore & paddles very calmly unlike the past. Yippee, thanks to the ladies whom brought him into the waters & let him swim. Heez~ Oh yeah, little Emma gal also learnt how to swim, thanks to Jo whom guided her & again, the ladies whom offered to bring her into the waters. She was on Cobi's life-jacket for start & i took it off when she could swim. =) I didn't have photos of them swimming coz i took video clips! See if i can upload it later.

Thanks peeps! We had loads & loads of fun~!! Thereafter, i rinsed the dogs & headed straight to RPP while the rest went to K9 Cafe. =) It was a long day & the dogs & i were tired. I slept & woke up at 5+pm to pickup the dogs. I got Marc to trim Emma really short & thining the fur coz Emma has been drooling more than usual on this hot weather. I too can't stand the urine stains on her back paws which she always gets when she squats to pee coz of the thick fur. So short fur will do her better & it wouldn't be too hot for her also. Ebi had the usual schnauzer cut & im glad his bumps are healing well. Both of them looked really neat & clean now~ (",)

Yippee! The weekends were well-spent with the dogs~!

Saturday morning, brought Ebi for the prawning session that we've planned since last week, along w/ my buddy. Drove my parents to work @ 6am, reached back home nearly 6.45am, took a shower & brought Ebi out of the house. Did not bring Emma along as she's easily excitable (what if.. she scares away the prawny prawns? Or, if she eats up the jumping prawns? lol~) Newae, i doubt i can handle both dogs since i'll be focusing on the 'prawn pond', thus i only brought Ebi along with us.. shall bring Emma along next time. =)

There were slightly more than 5 people when we reached. Ebi was excited & busy sniffing the grounds & checking out the other humans there. We paid @ the counter, took the rods & the baits and went to the pond. Settled down, hook the bait onto the rods & started our prawning. The staffs there were friendly & the uncles were calling out to Ebi~ So, i unleashed him to let him roam & asked him to stay close. He went roaming around, checking out the ponds, asking those Uncles for rubs rubs & played with the staffs.. Then, their 'resident dog' - a mini german shephard (GS lookalike) came out & ran over to checkout on Ebi. I was on alert & called to Ebi, telling him 'friend friend ok'..~ They did not fight but played. The resident dog was very friendly & they teased each other & played chase. =)

Though the catches were little & was abit disappointing. But overall, we had loads of fun & Ebi enjoyed himself as well~! Will definately be back again, together with Emma this time round. Perhaps we could do it @ night, so we can BBQ the prawns on spot, chill & relax with ice-cold beer. Yummmmmmmmm!

It was the Class 95 Dog Walk @ Bishan Park! Weather was great in the early morning, thus decided to bring the duos there. Left the house @ 7.30am to fetch my cousin & headed straight to Bishan Park thereafter. Josephine sms-ed me as i was reaching & told me carpark was very full! Boohooz, it was only 8.10am leh..~ Anyway, i dropped my cousin & Ebi off @ the bus-stop first while i have to make a u-turn upfront & park at the hawker centre carparks opposite. It was only after 30mins of turning around & waiting before i finally parked the car! Moi couzzie managed to get a goodie bag for Ebi & i met them @ the gate near the registration counter, waiting for the walk to start. There was such a longggggg queue for the goodies bag, 300 bags were all snapped up pretty fast!

I met Gary+Kat with their schnauzers & we happened to be first in line, right behind the DJ's to start the walk. LOL~ Gary unleashed Julius & left him to roam free while Glenn Ong got Julius to 'lead' the walk with all the other doggies behind, haha~ There were soooo many people & dogs that when we were approaching the finishing line, we need to stop & take a break becoz the 'line of people & dogs' were still walking the roundabout & we need to let them pass before we can continue. Amazing!

We proudly finished the walk & went ahead into the dog-run area to cool down & let the dogs roam & mingled around. Weather was so freaking hot & all of us were sweating like mad. Ebi & Emma were panting like no tomorrow & they quickly finished up the bottle of water i brought. Phew~~!!

After the walk, it was home after breakfast, followed by a damn heavy downpour with non-working traffic lights (at cross junction!), very very bad visibility on the roads - can only rely strictly on the headlights of the car infront & the lines on road, small floods & many lightning strikes. Im glad i made it home safely with the duos. Then, it was time to vaccumm & clean the house before proceeding to bath/blowdry & dematt the dogs. After all these, it was time to wash & clean the hamster cage, changing their litter & eg. I finally got to rest @ 7pm.. Gosh! Very tired indeed!

Fun-filled weekends~ Am totally happy & im glad the dogs & i enjoyed ourselves. Seeing how much they enjoyed themselves & having fun, beats more than anything no matter how tired i am~! ("v")
