Pair of "Twins" !

Yessss! They looked so alike! At least that's what i thought so & many others told me they did looked at least 90% alike, hahaa~ Presenting; Emma & Tamy !

They have much similarities, they whine alot & they screams! I heard Tamy had stopped screaming though, oopss! Haha~ Both are naughty gals whom peed/pood everywhere & took longer training. They are destroyers & tears their korkor's favourite toys. Emma can tear Ebi's toy within a day which Ebi had played for a year now w/o damnage. Gawd! Destroyer!

Rachel & I both agreed they are really like "long-lost sisters"! The pair of "Twins", tsktsk~ Can't wait for them to meet-up! And when they finally had the chance to, during the MS sentosa gathering next week, Emma has to be on heat. Arghhhhh!! Let's see when this pair of sisters gets to meet. Geez~

Emma's 1st Heat~

Little Emma gal has grown up! She had her first heat on Monday, 16 June. It was a suprise, i never thought it would come this soon though i was expecting it coz she shown signs like,- slightly swollen vulva & excessive licking of her vulva. Anyway, i was on 1/2 day on Monday as i wanted to come home & bath Ebi & visit my grandpa in Changi General Hospital afterwards. The moment i was home, i found it weird - the usually excited Emma did not scream or yelp a single sound. Instead, she just sat quietly inside the playpen, on her bed waiting for me, awwww~ such a good gal i thought.

Then, i noticed 2 small drops of blood stain on her bed. Gosh! Did she hurt herself? Is she on heat? I panicked. Quickly brought her out, on a stool & double-checked her paws & body, nah all was fine! Then i took a wet wipe & clean her vulva - there were slight traces of blood, very little. Oh dear, Emma darling is on heat! To think next week is our Sentosa Gathering! Gawd, what a nice timing. =(

Btw, i still have not decided whether to bring her with us to Sentosa next week. Yes i know she will be exposed to the un-neutered males, but definately i will take 100% precaution! I thought it was quite bad to leave her alone @ home while Ebi is out for fun with us. Also, even if Emma goes, she will be on her pampers & panty, confined in her stroller & guarded by us to prevent the male dogs from coming. No chance will they get come near Emma, not to even mention, mounting her at all. Definately, all preventive measures will be taken. Hmmm, but we shall see when the date gets nearer. Coz i've read that average heat lasts about 21 days - of which, 7 days coming into heat, 7 days in heat (Estrus - conception period) & 7 days going out. It so happens that on 29th, Emma is still on the 2nd week of Heat, so i gotta think & plan really carefully first. =)

Mission Trip To Sentosa!

Saturday 14/06, fine sunny morning. We were going out to Sentosa for a mission, bringing along Jester & Emma. =) Yes, we were off to Tanjong Beach to reckee the exact location for our MS Gathering on 29th~

Tanjong Beach Carpark~


Walk straight in from the carpark, our "target spot" is at 1 of the 3 BIG PAVILLON at the furthest end, approx. 8-10mins walk away~ You will pass by this canoe/kayak thingy, walk further in. The Pavillon as seen on picture is the 2nd one, we'll chope this if the 3rd one further in, is not available. Thus, we must go early to chope place!! =p


Yes, this is the BIG Pavillon we are targeting at, prime location. This is the 3rd big pavillon at the furthest end of Tanjong Beach. It is directly opposite this 'small island' where owners can swim out to w/ the dogs~

Male/Female toilets are nearby too, about 5-6mins walk away from our prime spot.

Showering point for the dogs available too! This is nearer to the carpark though, so perhaps after the gathering, bring them for a quick rinse before going into the car~ =) Located right behind KM8, less than 2mins walk to the carpark!



Scenery around Tanjong Beach~ They have many smalll pavillons around. We saw many groups of dogs yesterday too..

Lastly, remember - all dogs are to be leashed in public! Geez.

Oh, since the time was still early~ We decided to head to U-Petmegamart to see if there's anything we can get. Luckily enough, no damage was done to our pockets. LOL~ Then, we headed over to Petmovers for a drink & to look at the puppies. And just in time, i managed to take part in the Solid Gold lucky draw Jo has been telling me about. There were only 4 contestants anyway, and i got drawn for the 3rd prize. =p


Another tent bed! Now i've 2 tents at home! Ebi & Emma no longer have to fight over the tent, now they can have 1 to each. Hehe~

It was a great outing for us! Tired but enjoyable. We weren't bias not to bring our big boys along, just that we don't want them to have all the sand in their fur, it just so happens that they are not due for bathing session either. Thus brought only the 2 smaller ones, Jester & Emma has shorter fur anyway, hahaha! But i made it up to Ebi by bringing him to Earth Cafe last night to meet up with Selina & Maria to pass them some stuffs. I even tabao-ed the Doggy Divine Din Din for them! =)

Very tiring day indeed! So much programmes! Heez. But, yes we should do it once in awhile. I quite enjoy walking the dogs & bringing them to Tanjong beach, it was fun! I'll definately bring Ebi along the next time! Now, look forward to our gathering on the 29th! Cheers.

Happy Barkday, Ebi dear!!

My Boy turned 2years old today! I still remembered when i first chanced upon Ebi & siblings up for sale @ an advertisement in Hotdog Classifieds. I decided to go down to the breeder's place @ Sengkang and take a look~ Since i insisted on a boy, Elizabeth took out the only 2 boys in the litter of 6. The moment you're out, i set my eyes on you & picked you up. It so happens that you were the runt of the litter, so small & fragile unlike your siblings. Awwww~ Chaco was the playful one, hopping around, while you just sat quietly infront of me & played with my fingers. My intuitions tells me that i must bring you home! You've gonna join me as part of the family~ Was this Fate? I've never set my eyes on the numerous MS puppies i've come acrossed in the petshops/petfarms, but only you~ I guess, you are meant to be mineeeee. =)


YOU belonged to me~ (12/07/06)

You were only 6 weeks old then, i had to wait till you had your 1st jab before bringing you home~ So, i told Eliz that i'll pick you up again on 04 August. Meanwhile, i kept thinking of you & how i wished you were right home with us. Eliz kept me updated constantly on your growing & mms-ed me new pictures of you. Meanwhile, we got all the necessary puppy stuffs ready & i thought hard of a name for you, decided to name you - Ebi. =p



Soon, i waited long enough to bring you home! It was a friday on 04 Aug 06. Your Ah-Yee Cat went down with me secretly to bring you home. SSShhh, Grandpa & Grandma didn't know i've brought you, but i knew they were fall in love with you the moment they sees you, like what i did. Hehe. Everything went smooth, 1 of your jie-jie too was leaving for a new home right after us. Eliz held her tears back & waved goodbye. I knew she was upset, she loved you & Chaco the most. Eliz provided me with alot of tips on taking care of you, right food to feed & right milk to give which i really thanked her for. So, off we go back to Bedok in the taxi~

We allowed you to roam & sniff the house, fed you with some softened kibbles with milk & played with you a little while. Grandpa & Grandma came back & was suprised to see the cute little you! I had to bluff Grandma that my friend's dog gave birth & couldn't cope with too many puppies - so im taking care of you till she takes you back. But Grandma has already guessed that i brought you, she just didn't want to expose me, haha. Clever her! She never fails to reads thru my mind! =p

You underwent surgery for neutering by Dr.Grace Heng @ Joyous Vet on Oct 2007. Believe me, this was for your own good as you had an undescended testicle. =( I felt the pain & was constanly worried till the staffs called & said i could pick you up in the evening. My heart ached when i saw how painful you were. You were whining in pain when out from the Vet & i carefully placed you in the carrier & your Grandpa drove as steady & fast as he could so you could rest well @ Home. I also took 4 days leave to care for you @ home, making sure you are all right. You proved yourself to be my brave little boy & recovered within a week, jumping & hopping around by the 2nd day~

Oh, anyway brought Ebi & Emma down to Earth Cafe this afternoon~ Sent them for basic grooming in the morning, then picked up stuffs from USDB & off to Earth Cafe. Was abit late due to abit of jam here & there. *blush*

Newae, was having a small celebration of his 2nd barkday with his blood bro, Chaco @ Earth Cafe. (this is their 2nd celebration together! i hope we have more together to come!) Invited some close pals for a small party. Both human & dog food was good & served hot. Esther did a good job in organizing the bash & the party turned out to be a success!

Heez, thanks peeps! Ebi had loads of fun today~~ He enjoyed himself throughly, meeting his pals again & enjoying all the good food! Yummylicious!!
( Paisey if i wasn't a good host neh. Was so busy walking to & fro, feeding them the food & cake eg. *multi-tasking* =) )
