Updates of the week, before CNY~!

Hooray!! Tomorrow's the official Day 1 of Chinese New Year~! Am so looking forward to meet-up my *long-time-no-see* couzzies, having good foody & drinks non-stop & most of all, collecting angbaos!! So excited! =p

Oh yeah, i've finally managed to get my Red Top that i've been searching for high & low over the past week to match my new pair of Levis jeans & a green+white stripes polo-tee from Everlast to match the other pair of new Levis jeans. Have also gotten a top, a jumper & a dress from Hypnosis, another 2 black tops from Chinatown & This Fashion respectively. And finally, another black dress from Butterfly. Oh yar, i also spent nearly $100 for 2 tshirts from Slurplife @ Bugis last thursday. Woosh! I guess i bought the most apparels for CNY this year & i've spent at least $600.00 on them, including the new Longchamp bag! Goodness! LOL~

**New Gate**

In this new year, we've also gotten a new main gate (as the previous was so old & dirty already), signage & repainted our wooden door. =) I paid for them as i got my bonus last week, it costed me $480.00 for the gate + signage..

New Signage (the contracted got the color wrong, the base is supposed to be the same colour as my gate w/ tinted gold.. not green! he said he will come again to repaint it after the CNY holidays..~)

Ebi, the "escape artist"

With the new gate, there was a bigger gap between the grills & being the usually smart boy, Ebi had learnt how to run in & out of the house freely, without having the need to open the gate! OMG~! He would just lower his body, leopard-crawled & squeeze his way out of the small gap that measures only 10" by 4.7"!! But luckily, he only does so when he's excited. Cat & I got a shock when we saw how he 'escaped' from the house to chase after Cat when she left for work yesterday morning. I used treats to lure him & witnessed again, how he squeeze his way thru the gate, back into the house. Dunno whether to be angry or to laugh~ HmMpf!

I must get to the DIY stores asap to buy the wire mesh & block the gaps on the gate before they really escaped someday, without us knowing. I'm glad Emma did not learn the tricks from Ebi & had not attempted the 'escape'.. Phew~!

Ebi loves the ball totally & he gets all excited once he saw me taking the ball out of the box! He would chase, paw & trys chewing the ball. He barks when he gets angry, when he couldn't get hold of the ball in his mouth as it kept bouncing. LOL~

Emma on the other hand is very terrified of the ball! I wonder why? The moment i take it out, she goes into hiding - be it inside her crate, on our beds, mom's & dad's lap.. whatever/wherever, as long as the ball is far away from her! Muahahaha, what a silly gal~ I told Mommy that we shall lock her inside the crate with the ball inside on day, if she's too naughty.. Tsktsktsk! =p

Ciaoz! Going out for our last CNY shopping before we come back & start preparations for the reunion dinner & changing of bedsheets. Heez~ Happy CNY to everybody!
