New Camera ~ EOS 450D!!

My new toy~ Yippee! I finally couldn't resist the temptations anymore & went ahead to get my first-ever DSLR camera @ Funan yesterday!~! =)



In fact, these kind of dslr's had been my "dream camera" ever since i started working in Canon 2 years ago. I would always play, pratice & shoot around with the display sets. Hehe~ But, i'm still a newbie on this & i definately have much more to learn. I'm glad i have Uncle Jino (http://www.jinolee.com.sg) around, guess i can always pick-up a skill or 2 from him. Kekeke~ Oh btw, i'm a great fan of Canon! LOL~ =p

Couzie Joe helped me to get a very good deal & i went down to Funan & looked for Max. Indeed, the deal he offered was irresistable & he throwed in many free gifts as well! Simply happy as i finally laid my hands on my 450D~ Hurhur~

Our dinner @ Ajisen yesterday. My ton-toro ramen & the cuttlefish & chix wings!

Oh oh! We had loads of fun this morning @ Marina Baarage. It's our usual MS outing (the 10 musketeers of coz!) & this time round, we have another 2 cuties - Zaedy & Slurpie with us. Total of 15 humans & 12 dogs! There were many 'tour groups' there & they looked impressed when they saw us walking the dogs. Heez~ Though the sun was shining brightly - it was very hot & we only had that 'limited route' to bring the dogs but i guess everyone of us still enjoyed every part of it because it's always the 'company' that matters. You guys rawks! ("v")

Hammie's new cage & Ah Mer goes for vaccine~!

Woooo~ The hammies grew so much & i finally have to buy a new bigger cage for them! I went around looking for something that's just @ the right size, not too big nor too small & not too fanciful. I do not fancy those big & many storeys ones with connectors & eg. LOL~ I prefers a simple & nice cage that's easy to wash & clean~ And i 'rounded' down to 2 cages; Habitrail Ovo or the Wild Cage..? Hmmmmz~

I finally decided on the Wild cage as it looks more airy & spacious for the hammies to run around. Moreover the OVO is big & i doubt it can 'stand' on my small cupboard top~ Kekeke. I went to PLC Vivo on Sunday & bought the purple 1 @ $43+.. =)

The standard set comes with the running wheel, eating bowl & water bottle only. I added in the 'toilet with bathing sand' so the hammies can clean themselves. LOL~

Perfect size! Sits nicely on my cupboard top where the dogs cannot reach. Hurhur~

With the new cage, Emma was so curious & excited about the hamsters! She would run & stand against the cupboard & stretches herself to see the hammies (if she could) whenever any noises comes out from the cage. Hahaha~

But she sees them as 'prey' & i bet she would 'mouth' them if there's any chance for the hammies to be running out around her. LOL~ Ebi on the other hand does not bothers about the hammies & is only interested to sniff them out. =)


Oh btw, here's some niceeeee collars & leash i got from Gummi! Am awaiting for the pet-tags to arrive from TW so i can hook them on the collars & let the dogs wears them out! Yippee~~ (",)

Emma goes for check-up & 1st annual vaccination

Ohh ohh!! Lest i forgets, Emma went for her annual vaccination yesterday~! Vet did a through check-up on her, stretches her limbs & checked her eyes & teeths. She was declared healthy though she's abit pinkish on the skin & has a little bit of skin allergy (was adviced to feed more pork & fish), no wonder she has been scratching herself so hard for the past few days. Anyway, she was trembling the moment i put her down on the Vet's table. She weighs 6.53kg as of yesterday & was shivering away even on the weighing scale. LOL~ But, she was calm & cool when it comes to the jab, she just stood there & allowed the Vet to poke the needle in & outta her body. It sort of suprises me coz i've expected abit of 'reaction' coming from her. Haha! All is good & in another 2 weeks time, she's off for her sterilisation OP. (",)

CNY Day 1 ~ 4

新年快乐~！恭喜发财~！！

As usual, we had good food & had fun doing visitings. Day 1 was to my grandparent's hse, Day 2 was @ my house. Thus, we are still left with 3 houses to go;- my small aunt hse (tomorrow), my big aunt hse (saturday/sunday) & my small uncle hse (sat/sun/next weekend) to go~ This had been our usual pratice since many years back. LOL~ Food + Gatherings + Blackjack~ Yippee!

Definately, i brought Ebi & Emma along with us! Been doing so since Ebi came & joined our family. Was hestitating @ first to bring Emma as she gets agitated whenever she sees kids (i've many many newphews & nieces *sweats*) & too many strangers. But we gonna be out the whole day & i don't feel good to leave her alone @ home. Tried convincing Mom, she finally relented & asked me to don on the CNY cheongsam on them & off we go~! Yeah~!! Kekeke =p

Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nephews & Nieces came over for the CNY gathering on Day 2 of CNY~ House was packed with humans & the 2 dogs were locked w/i the baby-gate in my room as the main gate was opened for the guests. Heez~ Dad & Mom was busy preparing the dinner & we needed 3 rounds of food for everybody~! LOL~ I was busy packing the many cans of beer into my ice-box & the packet drinks into another smaller ice-box. Our relatives came over 1 by 1, from 5pm~ =)

Emma simply loves to nuah~! Anywhere, anytime. Especially loves to nuah on my Daddy's lap or on our stomachs. LOL~

Oh yeah, Emma finally got her own sofa bed! I threw the old zip-zip one away as the zips were spoiled & it was soiled with urine (hmmpf! wondering who did it!). She loves to sleep on Ebi's sofa bed & thus, decided to get her 1 too. Same red colour, but smaller in size as another big 1 would take up too much space. =p

Didn't go anywhere yesterday & i slept the whole day thru-out & it was very tiring for the past 2 days. Oh yah, watched "LOVE MATTERS" on CNY day 1, midnight show @ 1.10am & cinema was almost full. The show was great, very funny indeed! Watched "The Wedding Game" this afternoon too, with Eng & Collin. Pretty funny show as well but i still prefers Love Matters. Next up shall be.. All's Well End's Well 2009~

Tomorrow will be gathering @ Sis's house with her colleagues for steamboat lunch & blackjack. Then off to Small Aunt's hse in the evening for dinner & blackjack yet again~ Yeah~!! Sunday will be off to Boss's house @ Lorong How San for visitng & then, finally starting work next Monday! Bossy Tan was kind enough to let us rest for so many days & did not deduct our leaves. Phew~!!
