The moment i bought the cute hamster cage & some other accesories like; tunnel, bathing house & food when i was in Cheena, i've decided to get myself a hamster. 1 & only, i thought. Been 2.5 years since i last kept any! =p
Was browsing Mocca where i chanced upon this lady selling her baby hammies. Decided to pop by her house @ Ang Mo Kio on Thursday (04.12.08) Oh man! She has more than 60 hamsters @ home - that is including the adults & the babies (excluding the ones that she's doing boarding!!) OMG~! Tanks & cages were all over the living room & kitchen, all cleaned, neat & nicely stacked. Could see she took very well care of them & all of their hammies living environment were good. She had many different breeds like; Winterwhites/ Roborovskis/ Puddings/ Campbells/ Blackbears & eg. WhOa! After spending some time playing with the baby hamsters, i decided to get the Pearl White (which she had earlier on reserved for me via our sms, coz he's the cutest of the litter!). Then i also decided to get the Sapphire 1 (not pure since he had the blood of an campbell mom), coz he was so cute! Couldn't get my eyes off him, so might as well get it to accompany the white. Heheh~
Was looking up names for them & was looking at the initial E (like.. Ebi/ Emma..) & Winnie suggested - Echo. I thought, whoa it sounded just fine, and that's how the name came along for the Sapphire hammie (coz both Winnie & I liked him! LOL). Cat loved the Pearl White & insisted on naming him - Shadow. So, that was how the 2 names came about, pretty cool huh? Kekeke

I'm glad both of them gets along really well. They loves to sleep together, eat together, play together & exercise/run on the wheels together too! =)
They looked liked a pair of 'real brothers'. Some of their actions are really alike!

Ebi & Emma reacts pretty well to them. Well, at least they never tried to 'prey' on them, muahahaa~ But they gets really excited when we bring the hamsters out to play! Ebi's the one whom is more cool about the new additions, whereas Emma somehow tries to lay her paws on them @ every chance she could! Tsktsk~
Oh yeah, we've received a parcel - big & heavy box at that, from the lovely 4 Musketeers! It's christmas presents for Ebi & Emma! *Thank you guys!! Am so touched!!* I'll have your parcel mailed to you before Xmas too! Geez~
